Week's End Report - July 8th

Tip of the Week!

As midterms and finals quickly approach, we begin making arrangements for students to take proctored tests. A lot of our students are off-campus for the summer and it's not convenient for them to come in to test at the Ivy Tech campuses or sites. While there are other proctor locations that meet the criteria, it can sometimes be difficult to determine whether a proctor the student has selected is appropriate.

For those cases, the college recommends the use of ProctorU. ProctorU is an online test proctoring service available anywhere throughout the world. They provide proctoring services for students at remote locations.

To learn more about ProctorU, attend the ProctorU Instructor Training webinar on Friday, July 15th at 2:00 pm EDT.

Prior to attending the webinar, please view the ProctorU video under the Click for Help tab in Blackboard.

If your students are interested in learning more about ProctorU, please share with them the following site:

That site contains important information for students including a demo of the ProctorU services and a link for test scheduling.
